Welcome to St Mary’s. We are a friendly and lively church for all ages, getting to know Jesus better through his Word (the Bible) and his Spirit, together on a Sunday and throughout the week.

Alex & Michael Moving on
As you are aware, Michael and I will be moving on to Ruxley Parish at the end of May and our final service will be on Sunday 25th May. It will be a whole parish communion, with activities for children, at 10 am at St. Paul's, followed by a shared lunch at 12 pm (please see the flyer attached). We would love to see as many of you there as are able to join with us - please do come along! (More information will follow in the coming weeks).
I will be licensed as Vicar of Ruxley Parish on Tuesday 10th June at 7.30 pm. We would also be delighted to see any of you there who would like to come - please do come along!
Electoral roll revision
As announced in our churches on the last two Sundays, we are in the process of revising our electoral roll for the parish. (Every 6 years Church of England Churches re-write the electoral rolls for churches from scratch).
Forms are available in the churches to be filled out if you are visiting for our services in the next two weeks - or you could also print the attached form and return this to Michelle or I for processing. St. Paul's has a letter box, next to the ramp entrance. These can also be put through the vicarage door. Please can they be returned by Monday 21st April.
Can you help?
As the parish heads towards vacancy, there will be some gaps it would be helpful to fill.
Would you be happy to support with any of the following at either church:
-
Gardening
-
Cleaning
-
Setting up for services
-
Doing occasional odd jobs, such as delivering items to parishioners
-
Or do you have another skill / offer that you feel could be useful during the coming months?
Please let me know by replying to this email, so we can collate all the replies.
Thank you so much
Alex
